North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University announced Raymond E. Samuel, M.D., Ph.D., as director of the Center for Outreach in Alzheimer’s Aging and Community Health (COAACH).

North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University has been awarded a grant from the National Science Foundation to support the ExpandQISE: Track 2: N.C. A&T QISE Research Workforce Development Programs.

As one of the most important research campuses in North Carolina, N.C. A&T conducts numerous research efforts like testing for COVID in wastewater.

North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University announced its newest cohort of Cheatham-White Scholarship recipients, representing some of the highest-achieving students among members of the class of 2027.

Yudan Chen Wang, Ph.D., of North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University’s College of Education (COEd),  received a 2023 Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program award.

On February 10, 2024 our students were involved in the 2nd Annual HBCU Health Equity Summit at Union Square Campus in Greensboro, North Carolina. 

On February 26th, members of the Samuel Research Team (SRPP) and QISE students gathered for a special dinner event with Chancellor Martin, held in the Deese Ballroom on the NC A&T campus. The evening proved to be a significant opportunity for 26 students, faculty, and staff affiliated with SRPP and QISE to interact directly with university leadership. 

The Samuel Research Team enjoyed a visit from the CEO Roundtable on Cancer based out of Cary, NC. In a meeting on the North Carolina A&T State University's campus, the Samuel Research Team welcomed guests to their team meeting on March 14, 2024. 

On March 19, 2024, the Samuel Research Team took a transformative journey to the 23rd Annual New England Science Symposium (NESS) held at Harvard Medical School.

On Friday, April 19, 2024, a group from the Samuel Research Team at North Carolina A&T State University went on a field trip led by Dr. Raymond Samuel and Dr. Simone Smith to the National Institutes of Health (NIH) NIEHS campus in the Research Triangle Park.

Students from various HBCUs gathered at North Carolina Central University for the ACHA HBCU Coalition Summit from April 3rd to April 5th, 2024.  This year's theme was Assessing our Impact:  Advocacy, Awareness, and Advancing Campus Health and Wellbeing.

Dr. Raymond E. Samuel attended the NSF Quantum Research Showcase on April 29th and 30th at both the NSF Headquarters and on Capitol Hill. The event highlighted groundbreaking advancements in quantum research and fostered collaboration among leading scientists and policymakers.
